Thanks for all your feedback.
I have asked the event owner if he would like to write a 'foreward' page. And I might also put a page in the back with sponsors logos.

I have cleaned up and added some text in the early pages, what do you think now? Does the text add value?

http://www.photobox.co.uk/creation/254890170 (external link)

Had a quick look and yes text info is IMO valuable but seeing it now as simply "who" leads me to think would short narrative lines add to the action such as "#1 Fred Jones pulling a tighter inside line to overtake #22 Joe Soap" I know it can be stating the obvious of what is in the image but could it add to the enjoyment of 'reading' the book ;)

Hi Rich, the new cleaner layout looks allo better IMO.
The text does make it a little bit more interesting, because you know who you are looking at!
Another idea would be to have a page with a list o all the riders and their race numbers, so people can look up exactly who is in each image. I dont know how hard that would be, but it might get you some sales from families of people who are not the main subject in each photo?

Ah! the angst of the creative mind ;)

Two versions perhaps ~ no text (maybe a contents list in the back of as I & Rob suggest) and one with a fuller narrative text??? It would be interesting to see which one sells better???

Looks good, a nice mix of on and off track photos.

Intresting reading about the rights we have, and how many officers / officials don't seem to know them.

In rainy Swindon at the moment so don't think I will get many photos here. :(

Looks good to me. I like the layout. I noticed a repeating photo on page 20 and 25 (the umbrella one). was that intended?

The BBC also has a follow up blog entry here: http://www.bbc.co.uk …_the_eyes_of_the_law.html (external link)

It's also worth a read.

There's a couple of letters to the editor in the telegraph today too which were quite interesting.

It does to me (Spyder calibrated monitor). But I tend to limit how much I saturate images as I'm not a fan of really oversaturated shots. Others might like it though.

I think the posts sort of ruin it for me. Since that's not what you asked, I will say that the greens are a bit crazy but it seems ok beyond that (on my uncalibrated work monitor).

For me the greens are way too saturated and whatever you have doen has introduced a blue/purple colourcast most obvious in the white chevron traffic arrows. Incidently where was this taken???

HTH :)

PS yes, my screen is calibrated ;)

evening or morning as it is here! went up to Fanling today to see a friends brother, then went to Mong Kok to price up camera bits $11280 (£917) cheapest for the 16-35mm. After that headed to the bar area in Central, Lan Kwai Fong, had a few scoops then ended up in a vodka bar which really was a freezer in a bar. 5 vodkas later I left! Lan Kwai Fong is truely a sight to behold! 1am now, not many photos taken today as it was a shopping and meeting friends day. My flight is 1am sunday morning and got to check out by 2pm today...so sat is a nothing day..just one pic today as I need sleep!
