A friend makes these toy boxes and i offered to photograph them in return for Dinner.
The meal was good so hopefully the pics will hit the mark.

Lovely shots Peter, very crisp and bright. I'm sure they will be delighted with them!

swings and roundabouts with that stuff as they wear the disks quicker than standard.

Oh aye, standard gear for me. Should cost under a ton for discs and pads on the rear of my Accord. Which I should really do before the MOT in Feb, curse it being cold out.

I'm with you, I didn't like Chrome that much and I don't see what I can do with Wave.

I feel kind of old and un-hip.

The 5DII is such a wonderful bit of kit - i would never have picked those as high ISO.

How are you finding things with the 1.4? I was looking for it the other day, almost convinced myself that i had lost it! (along with the UV filter i lost at Donna Nook). Then i remembered that i lent it to you - panic over!

Bah and I thought you were with me on the google hating.

I am totally with you on that - I just wanted to see if it offered anything better for chat with others here (it is bugger all use anywhere else). Swaffs made mention of it being a better way of having the gossip in this thread removed so we can concentrate on togging. Personally, I think the gossip in here is what makes the thread such a lively place to be (as long as it is not focussed on attention seeking as we have seen in the past). But others may find the chat too distracting so I wanted to see of there was "a third way". Frankly, I think we should communicate in here on both togging and what crap/good days we have all had. It builds a communal spirit that lets you go to your first meet and feel like you are friends with the people there. To me this is a special place. Wave (I suspect) is a bunch of arse. YMMV :)

That's blocked on so many corporate networks that it's not even funny anymore. Even I have to block that one :(

I wouldnt want to change this thread in any way. Its great as it is.

Wave is good for organising meets that not everyone in the thread is going to be on ( WHF for example) or meets that need a degree of discretion (UE'ing).
