And now he's jinxed the thread.

We're all doomed, I tell you.

Let's all run away.

well we bagged all the goals! Rich had 2 down his end and I got the Lampard pen!

Chelsea don't look good with Drogba and Pompey just gave it away too much!

Well done, fingers crossed they translate into sales

I think you are all missing the point with wave a little bit. Its not a forum/thread replacement - its structure would not work for that kind of traffic. It would be used to organise specific events in detail, as they come along - rather than running concurrently to the SE thread all the time.

Wendy touched on this before, but the ability to embed google maps , weather forcasts that are updated real time etc could be VERY handy for organising meets. Whether we use it or not doesnt bother me in the end, i feel very strongly that we should leave the main element of the SE thread exactly as it is. I just think it shouldn't be dismissed out of hand is all.

I will give it more of a go, my problem is I get used to one system. Like you say we can give it a whirl and see how we get on. You will will have to arrange the next meet so it can be given a proper test;)

Great.

I wonder what messed up the settings...

I think that is going to remain a mystery, I ran a scan with my anti virus software and that did not reveal anything. Have not done anything or been anywhere I don't normally go.

I'm starting to think pretty seriously about selling my gear. I don't use it nearly as much as I used to and much of my work is pretty boring.

Oh for God's sake Pete - Just enjoy the technology as I do - I haven't taken a half decent photo for ages - but I love the technology and love to compare that technology to what it was when my grandfather was loading plates in his mahogany bellows camera.
It'll probably be those 'crap' pictures in a digital archive somewhere, sometime in the future that will be a priceless window of today's society - that is if society doesn't destroy itself first.

That's why I never delete my crappy pictures, one day they may be important.

What's the going rate for a 24-70 these days? I think I'll downsize to something cheaper.

Oh, and good morning!
