I've had both also - the only thing I liked about the 24-70 was the f2.8 bit.
I'm very happy with the 24-105 - until something better comes out.

Not much..........got to be honest with you.............the place is slowly collapsing and very unsafe..

See the two pidly acro-props..........there should be a substantial pillar there, these are holding up the second floor and roof!! below on the ground floor there is a similar setup...
