the shops will be quiet on Friday I suspect! ;)

I prefer it that way. Less stock to choose from.

the wife did all of ours, which was handy! :D

& I went for the 'safe' option and asked her what she wanted for her present, saves the disappointment of not getting the right thing... ;)

Hmm, good tactic.

I start mine next week.

I'd better do it tomorrow or I'll forget and it'll be petrol station flowers. Not good.

Anyone else not got their Christmas shopping done yet?
What to buy the wife that hasn't already been bought?

Not all of it. Still got to get bits for wife and parents...that'll be everyone then!

Know the feeling - Now she says she doesn't want the 100mm IS 2.8 macro - Oh bugger! - How do I explain I've ordered it for her (on her credit card - to boot) ATM she thinks I'm joking and she's getting a new Rolex as a surprise - even bigger joke

No white stuff falling here yet (Meopham).

I'm beginning to think this snow forecast may be a big tease - it's not in the least bit snowy here... :(

I've cancelled work as due to the reports I actually fear for my safety driving home from London tomorrow. I better have done the right thing or I'll be suing the BBC and The Met Office for lost earnings.

I'm working from home.

Well, I'll have the laptop open in case I get any emails...

when one of the girls in work asked me to make a few copies of her wedding DVD, I thought no worries, I am more than happy to help out...

forgetting it was a Muslim wedding and now I am stuck making copies of a 4 volume wedding video 6 times - and we're talking choc o' block disks...

lesson here is look at the disks first then decide - sometimes I can be such a plum...

It was coming down thick earlier as I was on my way from folkestone to Dover, laying in St Margarets. Deal looks like it's not even bothered to snow. But then that's normal.

Night shift tomorrow is my last shift before the 28th. Wonder what the weather might do.

Hmmm, not sure... I kinda of gave it the whole "really no problem" approach... that and I'm not sure as she's a non-drinker whether beer is gonna pop into her thought process! at least she supplied the disks! (hopefully enough!)
