my goodness that northerly wind is the coldest ive felt in this country for some time (since last winter most probably)

Freezing here but not a hint of snow since a shrt blizzard at about 2pm.
My last day before New Year tomorrow though, it will have to be seriously dangerous for me to get out of going in
If I don't I am getting thermal'd up, putting the cameras poncho on and walking the Worth Way.

shame i have to work. Not really much of an excuse when i get the tube in. Here's hoping eeverything ceases to a complete halt

Quick question for the computer experts, of which I'm definitely not one, after my reinstall of vista this weekend I'm in the process of clearing up my slave drive of the junk that seems to of collected there but I'm having trouble with deleting and moving files and folders as it says I don't have permission, I've tried changing the permissions for the individual files and folder and the whole drive but it's having not of it, it won't change the permissions for certain items. Any help greatly appreciated.

Problem is, if I don't work I don't get paid, so it's not a decision I take lightly. But, better to lose some cash than crash the car I say.

Are you trying to delete everything in one go? Sometimes on vista it works better if you delete things bit by bit. A tad annoying but it's worked for me in the past

That is rubbish but like you say probably cheaper than wrecking your car or worse :S

If i dont go in they will deduct it from my hols next year...

Sent my gfx card off for repair today so got the lappy only for a few weeks!

Isn't there a key combination where you can delete totally straightaway without first putting stuff in the trash/recycle bin?
