Exactley the same login details some files in a folder it'll delete others it won't I can cut and paste stuff to another location on the drive but not to a location on the c drive.

I had some permission problems and someone from here recommended an unlocker programme which worked a treat, I had similar problems with not been able to delete folders. I have looked at the site which the programme has a link to but it is all in french, the link is here (external link)

update I went back through the thread and found the original link which was to the same page so I imagine the page has changed, hopefully someone will be able to recommend another one.

It appears that I have an xbox gamertag.

It's CoffeePete

I set up a Microsoft thingy when I bought my Zune years ago. It appears that it's still empty and unused.

Thanks all for your kind words from my recent trip to Derbyshire and Hampton Court.

I also went to Haddon Hall, which is near Chatsworth.

Problem is, if I don't work I don't get paid, so it's not a decision I take lightly. But, better to lose some cash than crash the car I say.

courier wrote in post #9217392 (external link)
That is rubbish but like you say probably cheaper than wrecking your car or worse :S

If i dont go in they will deduct it from my hols next year...

Contractor, meet Permie. I'm like Anke, the former. So I never take time off... Except this Christmas. We're off to Belgium then Paris for a few days. :D

Found a way to do it but it's going to be a pain in the rear as I've got to change the owner of every file or folder individually and each time close it reopen it then change permissions.
