I did see rather a large number of Santas running along towards LB from Waterloo, was that you all?

Aye ;)

But we marshal them in groups of 100 santas at a time at 30 minute intervals - otherwise the pubs would die.

That really sucks! Much damage?

Better safe than sorry and stay indoors for me.

Just need a new front bumper. Luckily, have 2 witnesses and they found part of the offenders number plate under my car! Should be fun. I've now had 4 accidents in 7 years, all with in 1 mile of the Dartford Crossing. Can't believe my luck. I keep thinking my car is old enough to be 1 crash away from being a right-off. A bumper can't cost that much.

well back from a cold day at Heathrow. Not been down there for a year so took the chance to update my stock images. Very cold but some good photos.

Had the 100-400 on the MKIII and 300 + 2x on the MKIIN

A couple of photos. edited on lappy so not sure if they are ok or not, they look fuzzy here when posted.

Hey Mungo, great camera you have chosen. The MKIII is amazing, really comes into its own for sports and moveing objects. What glass are you attaching to the front?

This one is the winner, such great light :D

I thought Top Gear was sh*te tonight, waste of an hour ..

The recently refurbished bandstand:

I like them all and agree that the bandstand one is a wall hanger ~ perhaps even a canvas?

Therein lies its problem. It used to be about the cars.

SwitchBlade wrote in post #9234005 (external link)
And thus the viewer ratings were crap and it was canned in the 90s.

Agree with you Hayden

Surely, they'll get into trouble for leaving the scene?

Lucky you :D my experience with garden visitors is that if I rush to get the camera they are gone by the time I return.......so I just enjoy the moment.

Long Tailed Tits are the most welcome 10seconds they seem to 'stay' for.

Well I may exaggerate, viewer ratings weren't crap, but not as high as they are now, and they definitely dropped once Clarkson left. That was when I stopped watching it regularly too.

Well, there were good bits...

1) Jenson Button in the reasonably sized car (lap was a bit unimpressive, but the interview was ok)
2) British car (with Volvo C90 engine) beats pretty much everything else on the leaderboard.
3) The special paint on the Red Bull F1 car wasn't a set up. Teams actually do that during circuit practice laps so that they're able to examine aerodynamics back in the garage after the session (they turn the lights out and put on black lights). Since mid-season technical testing is now banned, the teams use this as a sneaky way of testing changes in the aero kit.

Ouch! Not too many injuries i hope?

I wrote of my Yamaha Fazer last summer when i was cut up on a motorway slip road and managed to smash my left arm & right shoulder to bits. I am full of mechano now though, so all is fixed.
