Lucky you :D my experience with garden visitors is that if I rush to get the camera they are gone by the time I return.......so I just enjoy the moment.

Long Tailed Tits are the most welcome 10seconds they seem to 'stay' for.

If im in the mood for shooting birds, i have the camera sitting on the table in our kitchen (right next to the window) and also they do seem to time themselves coming to the garden, between 11am and 1pm

Ouch! Not too many injuries i hope?

I wrote of my Yamaha Fazer last summer when i was cut up on a motorway slip road and managed to smash my left arm & right shoulder to bits. I am full of mechano now though, so all is fixed.

I bet it's fun going through airport security now...

Surely, they'll get into trouble for leaving the scene?

Absolutely, especially as I have witnesses. They must report it to the Police within 24 hrs if they could not find me or were unable to leave a message.

 don't you believe it parts seem to cost so very much compared to years ago IMO

Cheers, make my Christmas!:rolleyes: I don't want to buy a new car now :(. No! Reckon Audi A3 bumper may cost £700?

3) The special paint on the Red Bull F1 car wasn't a set up. Teams actually do that during circuit practice laps so that they're able to examine aerodynamics back in the garage after the session (they turn the lights out and put on black lights). Since mid-season technical testing is now banned, the teams use this as a sneaky way of testing changes in the aero kit.

Well you learn something every day :D I should try this on my V50, I have some matt emulsion around somewhere...

It's nice to be able to do that. As long as the glass is pretty clean, you can get some good shots that way.

You could also try your local college, they may do an evening course or adult education type thing - I did a short course at my local college a while ago... was free too! :D:D

No idea. POTN is my camera club.

I used to go to one a few years back but was a bit disillusioned by it being a bit of an old man's club. Every knew each other and outsiders were treated a bit like outsiders.

The competitions are strange beasts. You can enter what you feel is a stunning photo and it'll be met with somewhat arbitrary ambivalence.
