Can i bring the annoying father along?

Sure you can. As it won't be an intensive photo session anyone regardless of skill or even owning a camera can walk along. It's only a couple of hours so he won't be bored.

Wow! What a collection of wounded individuals we have here! Glad you are all on the mend.

Dom, how did manage to get shot? Did you shoot yourself? Accidents happen! My father was shot, but, he had no body armour. He was left with some fragments in his neck, which would set off alarms also. All part of the Invasion of Sicily. He nearly lost his left arm- looked like a hero to me as a child.

kskitt, here's the programme, which may interest you.

Looks like they have a number of women there also:

I'm only in Hildenborough and could explore this club as a guest.

Right, that's the 24-70 sold.

Any recommendations for a cheapish walkaround? Same kind of focal length would be fine.

Crumbs all this talk of injuries just causes me to remember that when I was 4 (yes 4 years old) all us kids were doing a bit of "exploring" on what was effectively a building site of the estate where we lived and a whole pile of massive timbers came tumbling down.

I had my leg broken very badly and was in toe to hip plaster for nearly a year (missed my 1st year at Primary School) and another slightly older lad has a timber give him a glancing blow across the back. I suppose as the smallest & youngest I could not move as fast & if I recall my brother got a roasting from Mum & Dad :D ;)

But touch wood nothing remotely like you other guys in later life just an annoying minor fracture of the radius tip :(

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

Apart from photographing places you can't paint them now either, I'm quite sure a terrorist isn't going to go and paint a potential target surely! http://www.guardian.co.uk …lice-stop-painter-airport (external link)

Sorry I haven't been on here more! Hope you're keeping well .... although from a brief glance at Mark's post it seems we have some walking wounded amongst us? ;)

Festive greetings to you all - not long to go now! :D

Hope all is going well folks! I'm enjoying my time back in Canada, not nearly as cold as it's been in the previous weeks for which I'm thankful for.

Haven't had much chance to take photos, but should get a few in next week when I'm back in my home town. Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!
