Finally finished building the early Christmas present from the wife. If you're stuck with what to buy a photographer who won't read this and spoil the surprise, you really have to get them one of these. Brilliant fun! :)

Now I just need to find some film to try it out.

^^^ Also handy when photographing in London and you get stopped because you can just screw it up into a ball, "what camera?" :D

I have the utmost respect for people that can do this. I've no idea how I'd cope but I suspect I'd be useless being shot at etc.

+1

that is something I'm glad better people than I have the fortitude to undertake!

that looks very cool - and my wife always says there's nothing she can get me! I'd love one of these... or this...

Wow, cool, that's proper digital too. If you get stopped for a Section 44 with that one you can quickly rebuild it into a fire truck. "Ha! What camera?"

I watched Hurt Locker on the plane out to Hong Kong a couple of weeks ago, good film well worth a watch.

I need to do some prints that are not glossy, big poster prints say 50cmx50cm any ideas where I could go?

I tend to use Photobox, you can specify satin or gloss and border/no border :D

Oh yeah, I did forget to mention that didn't I? Silly me. She got it from Urban Outfitters (external link) in London. They have quite a few great gifts for photographers.

Get all my film mail order from here (external link), Jessops usually keep a good supply in their fridges but you will pay a premium for it in there
