Get all my film mail order from here (external link), Jessops usually keep a good supply in their fridges but you will pay a premium for it in there

Thanks, Victor. I think if I ordered it online I wouldn't see it until the new year. I wanna play today :D

I'll try Jessops for some, although I said I'd never go back in there after their rudeness last time.

On the subject of film I'm guessing a couple of rolls with a best before of 2000 that have been sitting in a drawer for years might as well find its way to a bin?

It was the time I was trying to buy a scanner/printer from them. I mentioned discount and the guy suddenly became very rude as if I'd insulted his mother or something. Not only that the printer I was trying to buy was the shop soiled one which was covered in cracks and was well abused.

Probably, but bung it in a camera and waste it, although it'll cost you to see.

EDIT: I have a friend you uses film as business cards. He took a picture of what he wanted the text to read and then just asked the developer to give him the negs with no prints.

Where does everyone buy their SD cards from and what is the biggest you can get? Im fed up with running out of space. Happens a lot shooting in RAW format esp when I only have 2 x 2GB cards..

Wouldnt mind just getting a 60+ GB one and being done with it..

I have always got more smaller ones. if you only have one card and it corrupts you have potentially lost all your images. At least if they are spread across more cards you have less chance of this happening.

I did hear someone saying that the bigger the card is the more likely it is to go wrong, im quite happy with the 4gb, i get about 200 photos on there, and i then have 2, 2gb cards. Im looking to get another 4gb once i get the cashback from Canon

Valuemedia have a 32GB card here: http://www.valuemedia.co.uk/sdhc_cards.htm (external link)
They are who I've used for optical/flash media for the last decade or so. Smaller cards seem better value for money TBH. I've got an 8GB in my 40D which I've never gotten near filling before wiping it.

+1.
I tend to buy mine locally now, the prices are only a teensy bit pricier than most online places, except the far east of course, and I like to help out my local economy.

Try this: Camera Price Buster SD Cards. (external link)
