Is there a way of doing HRD on a section (mask) of a set of images?

Say for example an element within an image?

Posting from my mobile been stuck in heavy snow and traffic for the last two hours miles from as well. Coming down thick and fast. The radio says 2" in the last hour

If you mean HDR, just import the HDR into PS as a layer and then mask it.
