GRRRRRRRRRRR

Just noticed that my xbox gamertag is locked into being in the USA, I can't change it over so I can't do anything in the marketplace.

it's taken me nearly two and a half hours to get home - 12 miles! WTF???

some people really shouldn't be allowed out - I've seen people sliding their 4x4s out of control and all sorts of random acts of stupidity... it really is a disgrace, can't drive in the snow/ice/slush then stay at home!

sorry, >RANT< ends!

how is everyone?

Cheers
Sort of... Asked the missus earlier if I could buy a new body, she said yes :)
So ordered one via quidco and jessops and picked it up at 5pm this evening

Nice one. I'm still waiting for my personal banker (swmbo) to authorise my upgrades to 7D & 5DII. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later...

But chains are cheaper than a set of studded tyres?

Can you even get studded tyres in this country? Problem then is having to change the tyres when the conditions change.

It's the people looking at me like I'm mad when I'm clearing the snow from my drives saturday, now today when everyone else has deadly ice on their drive/path my house is nice and clear.

oh and before I forget (and I don't want to get all mushy or nothing!) ;)

I just wanted to thank each and everyone of you folks for making POTN, especially the SE corner a warm and welcoming place, all too often technology can bring out the worst in people, jealousy and general unpleasantness...

But you are the perfect antidote!

and without further ado I'd like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year...

I hope to meet many more of you in person next year!

Unlikely I surmise. Those in countries where needed/available most likely have complete sets tyres & wheels i.e. no fuss changing tyres just put your winter studded wheels on and away you go bearing in mind they would stay on for months at a time :D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

The woman I saw probably has too much money and was taken for a ride by some shop selling them. Probably the same shop that was selling bags of sand and grit for a fortune.
