Anyone on here know the rough 2nd hand value of a 40d body?

*all ears* - may have a 40D to sell soon for the right money... :D

Jem seems to fall pregnant very easily, she was actually on the pill when we conceived Harry!

Sounds like a man trap ;)

I remember when i was 19, i was seeing a girl named Jennifer and despite her being on the pill and using a condom she still got up the duff. Although absolutely terrifying at the time, i thought i must just be especially virile

On the 40D thing I they seem to be going around the £450 mark atm.

Warren - I've just checked the operation of the Cleon II, and you just move the switch to 'Hold' and that opens the shutter .... just flick the switch again when you're done! Or you can press and hold the shutter button and let it go when you're done.

The only reason I upgraded to the Cleon II is that I lost the wireless remote for the Cleon I :p :p

Get one mate, you won't regret it! :D

David :)

Congratulations I have just had a failure and some passed. Realised the failure was due to interpolation defects but it was one I forgot to set the sharpening to 0 before I upsized it.....doh:rolleyes:

Fingers crossed it won't be long until your first sale:D

I'm struggling to find any that:-

a) I'm allowed to sell
b) That are good enough technically when upsized (quite a few of my shots have been cropped by quite a margin)

All possible I suppose. This is always a poigniant time for "older" people but I sense that the recent conflicts (and the coverage of the loss of life) have made this more relevant to a younger generation.

I still worry that our schools are not fully covering the 2 world wars properly and that we are in danger of rasing a generation who won't understand the importance of this.

After 24 years in the Army remembrance has a special place in my thoughts not just for peopel I know who have died on operations but also those who have died in training who are more numerous and today when I stopped at work at 1100 I got funny looks from the younger generation and some of the older one two. I use the term younger generation for people younger than me and I don't class myself old at 40, I think now if you don't know someone who has been killed or served people don't really think that much of it.
