Who else thinks that we need one of these? I think it could really help convey something that this forum is missing, who do I have to talk to about getting this?

Basically, they go to external sites and find them and then link them to posts here in the same way as you would do with images. That's what I do. Find the smiley you want, right mouse click and select "copy image location" (Firefox) and use the insert image function on the boards. I don't do it all that often. Kevin

Good because thats not the proper way to do it. If the images a free you should copy them you a website of your own and link them from there instead of stealing bandwidth from someone else. ( I know its minimal but its a principal). EDITING OF MY PHOTOS IS NOT ALLOWED

And hosting them yourself spares you the embarrassment (at least) of their changing the image to something you wouldn't want to be posting when they discover that the whole world is using their site as a smiley host. You click the link expecting to see another pic or something useful, and you end up with a stupid smiley David: Canon EOS 400D - Canon EF70-300mm f/4-55.6 IS USM -Sigma 17-70 F2.8-4.5 DC Macro - Sigma 50-500 'Bigma' - Speedlite 580EX 11 - Better Beamer
