I was out doing some testing with the 7d. This was late in the afternoon and was facing the setting sun. These aren't great shots but I thought the Killdeer's eyes looked neat. Thanks for looking in. :)

f/5.6, ISO 1250, 1/200s, @380mm

I like both of them, #2 is neat with the eyes, really shows what his field of view is, #1 is kinda cute too

I really like the first shot. That little bit of back-lighting is adding such a nice colour.

The color & tone in that first shot is very nice... the angle of the shot with that beautiful light makes for an excellent composition... interesting environmental shot as well.

Much appreciated Dave... I almost trashed these shots but decided to do some PP on them. I would've liked for them to turn out better but I was trying out different settings. Maybe they be back tomorrow. :D
