To keep a camera with you in your travels.
I seem to get out in the Hot and Dusty Desert every now and again to do a little four wheeling and exploring. My G5 seems to fit the bill here quite nicely as opposed to bringing much larger DSLR kit.
I found this Guy out for a stroll 20 miles South of Vegas. ;)

In every shot of a desert tortoise that I have ever gotten, the animal always has some vegetation hanging out of its mouth, just like yours.

Hi Raj, These Desert Tortoise's migrate across the Desert eating vegitation as they go.
I did a quick search for more info on the Desert Tortoise, and found this site.

Yeah, They're not overly abundant, but if you spend enough time in the desert, you MIGHT get lucky. Also, beware that if you're off road, these guys sometimes look like a rock just sitting there.

Great shot of the Turtle Bruce. That's one of the reasons I kept my G3 when I got the 10D. It fits in the pocket a little better. That and I don't have to get down on my knees to do those low shots.

Kewl. I didn't know they trekked across open landscape like that. I assume that there was water nearby.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
