I'm going to buy a some ND and Graduated filters, and will be using them on my 10-22, 24-105L and 70-200 2.8 IS lenses.

I'm getting the impression that the Cokin P system doesn't work particularly well with the 10-22 or the 70-200. Is that so?

Should I stick with glass filters or perhaps go with the Cokin Pro-Z system?

I'm seeking any real world experience that anyone has.

Go with the Z-Pro, I have the 10-22mm canon and the Lee setup. the Z-Pro is the same size as Lee, you wont have any problems. I use the resin ones instead of glass. Just a preference thing I guess.

I was in a similar position a while ago, and went for the Z-Pro system.

Works well on 10-22 on APS-C and/or 17-40L on FF, f.e..

I like the fact that you can add extra filter holders to the Z-Pro, or use fewer, in case you need that. Furthermore, Cokin also supplies a (glass) CP for use with the Z-Pro filter holder, which, unlike the Lee f.e., can be positioned very closely to the lens, and can rotate independently of the remainder of the filter stack.

HTH, kind regards, Wim

I have a Sigma 10-20 instead of the 10-22, but I use the Cokin P system with a Wide-holder, instead of the standard one. It works just fine without any vignetting. The downside is that you only get a CPL and one square filter in it, but that's fine for my needs.

I am tempted by the Z-Pro but it is A LOT more expensive than the P Series.

@Dusty - No vignetting at all, even at 10mm? Sounds promising.

Tapeman, looking at your gear list, you are just the guy I want to talk to.

How does the 77 mm P series work on your 24-105 L and 70-200 2.8 IS?

Would using the 77mm on the FF 16-35 FF yield the same good result on the crop EF-S 10-22?
