Linlithgow is a town in Scotland famous for its palace, the home of Mary Queen Of Scots. It also hosts an amateur musical society that for the past few years has been growing in strength and confidence, and this year they tackled Jerry Herman's Hello Dolly.
It was a very good show, playing to packed houses!
1. Dolly (in the red twin set) introduces herself
2. Horace van der Gelder and his eveer-mewling niece, Ermengarde
3. The men sing in praise of femininity. For, when the plumbing is leaking, to whom else can you turn but "that fragile woman"?
4. Dolly and Horace
5. Cornelius and Barnaby, who are determined that they are going to leave Yonkers for the day and visit New York
6. Mrs Molloy, the lady from the hat shop, sings of the hat she'll be wearing to catch gentlemen's eyes this summer
7. The waiters in the Waiters' Galop
8. Dolly and Horace
