It ain't the first lemon I was shooting, but this one's actually nutritional! :-D

Nice shot... Great dof and love the effects of the water droplets. I'm wondering if a little more light on the lemon might have helped the shot.

I like the shot. But I was so convinced that someone had just got some bad camera equipment ;)

Your right on the money pwm2, HAHAHA! I'm still thrilled about my precious canon, which I just got a few months ago... so, yeah, I'm still celebrating. Hope you don't mind! ;-)a

Thanks Michael! Guess I still need to get some more things like a decent reflector. Hardly any textures shows on the lemon itself. Hmmm... Once I have that and know how to deal with it, I might put out some shots that look less pathetic [thanks again, pwm2]. :-D

This is far from pathetic... don't sell yourself short--too many people out there ready to do that to you for you to engage in it yourself. If that makes sense. btw, interesting website.

Thank you, Michael, I really appreciate it! I'm still rightfully insecure and am hoping to find encouragement where I can get it. So far I have no knowledge of any reason not to believe or even to oppose anyone ridiculing my experiments. As of now I have to consider such feedback as information and a free ticket to be a bit naughty with my kind of gratitude, hahaha. I hope it never comes across as passively aggresive, though. ... anyway, naturally I much more enjoy a positive pad on the back.

I also may not be too allergic against a little kick in the butt, because my digital art (3d and otherwise) has given me a successful professional life and plenty of confidence where I believe I've earned it. Jumping into the cold water is to me actually refreshing, HAHA! :-D

But, again, thank you so very much for standing by me like that. Yet another reason for why I'd wished it was easy for all of us to simply get together and celebrate every now and then over what ever beverage is preferred. (somewhere there must be a :beers: smily!?)

Exactly what I was going to say!

The rainy season has just begun, so I assume I'll have some more opportunities to get a bit more light on that one... it might even look juicier then! :-D

THANKS!

I am a novice so my opinion matters little.
With that out of the way, I like the shot.
I like the work on your website also. You have an eye for the dramatic and it shows in both the photo and your renderings.

Thanks a lot, retro-mart! I often have a feeling I'm intuitively aiming for something in the middle, never too edgy or too dramatic, but some way for the subject to explain and/or reveal itself. I've yet to find out whether that's a virtue or a flaw, that I never seem to go to extremes. What ever it is, it's genuinely from my heart at the best level I can do it with at that moment. Always hopes for better ones, too!

Thanks, again!
