I love these shots, the first one is great. I'd do almost anything to see a Kestrel up close. We have them here, but they seem to be few and far between. Far between my lens and them. :)

Great shots Scott......I'm with Mitch, they're few and far between. When I actually locate one, they're gone before I get within 1000 ft of them.

spectacular birds. I wish I could've done justice to the eagle pics I took the other day, if they were half as good as these I would've been happy.

Nice Work.

I find Kestrals to be very appealing birds.

I would love to see and shoot a Kestral, but they are way too skittish around this area. Excellent captures of these pretty birds! Well done Scott.

They seem to like perching in the little upturned "Bird Cups" on top of streetlights down by me in Chandler Steve.

I see one about every other month or so when I'm out hunting aluminum birds.

Thanks Mitch....I followed this one for about an hour but Kestrels often seem to perch on wires & poles which doesn't make for a great shot!

Thanks Sharon...the trick to wait for them to come to you :)

Thanks, their small size & great looks seem to make them so desirable to shoot.
