THE KING OF BEASTS

Still a few more shots taken at the African Lion Safari. Unfortunately, the lions were a little further away than I'd like--and they were also in their "let's lie around" mood. Still, my fave is the shot with the lioness standing on the rock.

The lioness is a great shot but unfortunately it looks a little out of focus to me.

On a side note, what camera + lens was it taken with?

(Can I also ask how the african lion safari was? I've never been.. .did you go on the tour bus or your own vehicle?)

You're right it does look out of focus, but I was on the bus and he was driving as I took this--the ride was anything but smooth. I've reprocessed it... does this help?

I think the reason its OOF you were shooting at 1/80 sec at a focal distance of 180mm. If handheld it was difficult to get a sharp shot.

Wasn't aware there was time limits. Was your reply necessary? Did it contribute anything, or even voice your opinion on the photos presented? Answer is no to all. I can see you have alot of time on your hands based on some of thread topics you have started, but do us a favor and don't troll.

I already replied to this thread, over a year ago.

It is a very safe assumption that the original poster has since gone on to better their skills and take better photos. Maybe they even have a more recent photo they are looking for critique on. No idea how you managed to go to such an old thread and bring it back to life.
