1st attempt at star trails

Had to find Polaris by way of cheap compass due to all the light pollution from the street lights... I was just a couple degrees off.

59 pics x 31s(Total of 31m28s), f/2.8, ISO 100, 40d, Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8, EOS Utility timer. Only PP is added each pic as separate layer in PS and lightened each layer.

Exact same as above only with the airplane flyby layer added, Total Time 32m

Nice captures. I actually like the one with the plane trail a little better given all the light pollution that is present. Might be time for a road trip to a darker spot when the moon is dark as well.;)
