Experimenting with PP ...I don`t think the kit lens is very capable at night shooting. :-(

Ok, I just came from your other thread with the same type shots. I definitely prefer this one.

Although, it's still a little weird I think it's much better. I like your composition with the two halves on each side of the building.

Take my critique with a grain of salt, because I've never been big on infared processing. Just know that this one is much better than the other one. heh.

Any lens is capable of night shooting. Put the camera on a tripod. Use proper exposure. The pp is interesting, but not my cup of tea. It's a pretty good shot, you shoot this from by the Calatrava? It could use a bit of perspective correction, in pp.

Just the humble musings of a beginner...

I took this shoot right in front of Discovery World. The camera was on the tripod and w/ 15-20sec exposure-I don`t remember(My first time shooting at night). I should have used the timer instead of manual clicking...

It could be me but the horizon seems off a little bit.

You should get a remote release for the shutter, either wired or wireless. Pretty inexpensive and a must, IMHO, when shooting on the tripod. You could also use the cameras 2 second timer.

I`ll keep that on my list. Thanks.

No prob, my gear list in my feedback lists the one I use with a link to a review on it I wrote here on POTN. The wired one was $40 and the wireless was $30. Great idea for your wishlist for the holidays :)
