I'm using 3.7.1.1 version. Just noticed 2 odd things. In the fnal Tif exif data - it says color space unclaibrated. I had asked for aRGB. It also says by sharpness - low -327..... Not matter what sharpenss I use in DPP. How do I get aRGB, what should it say by sharpness?

The original Exif convention specified that the Color Space field be either sRGB or "uncalibrated", even if the file is tagged with a space other than sRGB. (The Exif and the embedded color space identification are separate.) The convention was changed a few years ago to allow for writing AdobeRGB in that field, but DPP still uses the old form. You can rest assured that the file is in AdobeRGB space.

The Sharpness field refers to whatever happened to be set in the camera for incamera jpg processing, not what was set in DPP (except that DPP sets its default according to that number.)

The Exif, and more particularly the Maker Notes, records every setting in the camera plus dozens of other things, so something has to be written in the Sharpening field. Also, I doubt that there is a situation where the camera doesn't do even a tiny bit of sharpening to jpgs. Zero doesn't always mean absolutely none in camera-land.

Hey tzalman..not trying to take your quote out of context but I cannot figure out why DPP doesn't show in the exif where I have either adjusted white balance or bracketed it. It shows in zoom browser and not sure about breeze browser. Is there a setting I missed somewhere?

I haven't looked at files from DPP, but with PS and Lightroom, adjustments to the Raw files show up in a "Camera Raw" section of the Exif. You can see it in the Bridge/Photoshop Exif viewer, but other viewers would have to be programmed to read that data using that particular header/tag. I'd imagine the Canon exif to be similar, or even more obscure/proprietary.
