How do I get images from two different cameras to look similar (esp color saturation)

While I know that ultimately it's impossible for it to be perfect, is there a way to get the jpegs that come out of my 7D and 5DMii to look more similar in terms of color saturation? I know that there are a ton of factors, but I'm throwing it out there.

Regardless of lens, I've found that the 7D produces better images right from the camera. I think it's the new metering mode, because exposure in Av mode is almost perfect every single time. I tend to need a little more time with jpegs from the 5DMii, but nothing a couple of presets can't take care of.

I use Lightroom 2.5 if that helps with any recommendations.

1. Don't shoot JPEG
2. Shoot RAW
3. Make custom profiles for your cameras using a colour chart (takes about 2 minutes)
4. Import using those new profiles
5. Enjoy your perfectly matching colours
