A friend of mine makes handmade glass beads and wants me to take photos for her website. I am not sure I have the skills to do this. Here is one photo and I am not happy with it, but it is the best one so far. I would appreciate suggestions as to how to get the whole thing in focus. Thanks a lot in advance. BTW, the bead is a bit less than an inch long IRL.

switch from programme mode to AV mode and select f16 to get it all in focus. You will probably get quite a long exposure - no problem if using a tripod and self-timer or cable release. You could also try bounced flash.
