Too much wind during the big swell so we moved down to SB to see if it was making it past the Point. The surf was small so we did not stay long. I wish I could surf these days but those are the breaks.

Shot with my 5D and 70-200mm. 2.5fps makes surf photography difficult but I think it'll make my timing better.

Pity the crops weren't a little tighter but your timing seems good indeed. Spy some dust on that big grumpy FF sensor too ;)

Tell me about it, I made the mistake of thinking if I went north I would get some. While Marin County was way better than San Mateo, it still kinda sucked.

Did you head all the way to rincon? I was almost on my way...

Nice timing on that 2nd shot!

Thanks J-rod. I've pretty much sold all my surf photo gear because I wasn't using it. Hopefully my back gets better soon so I can get back in the game.

Mike, I didn't go that far south. Just a few spots north of SB. Monterey and Santa Cruz counties were going off though. My friend made the trip from Huntington and scored sone good surf.
