I tried Transcend SDHC for small/fast storage on my MacBook Pro (built in SDHC slot). The Transcend 16GB SDHC class 6 was about have the write and read speed of my Sandisk 16GB SDHC class 4.
I sent the Transcend back to Newegg.

I've recently bought a 5D2 and 7D and have switched the cards to those bodies. I have had no problems whatsoever in around 30K+ frames of shooting.

I'm not sure I fully understand this - do you mean that you didn't like the Transcend, and that's why you sent it back to Newegg?

That's plenty good enough reason to send a card back, methinks. And the "Class" designation was supposed to enable reliable, repeatable and meaningful speed ratings. Jon

Much faster transfer speed compared with comparably priced Sandisk (Ultra II = dogs.) I would not be afraid to go with this brand.

Sounds to me you are back at the beginning, they work if speed isnt critical to your task.

I notice that the prices between the Transcend 8gb and the Sandisk Ultra II 8gB are more or less the same (at least from some sources). How do you think those two particular versions compare?
