Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 macro attempts

Due to lack of funds this is my only lense and I have to make it work for my macro shots which can prove to be difficult. Here are a few of my recent attempts. Definitely going for an artistic look over a detailed one. Let me know what you think.

These are pretty nice, I really like the last one! Turn your lens around and you have something like 1:1 macro (at its short end) for free (not much control over the aperture, though).

Very different approach at macro, nicely done. 2, 3 and 5 are my favs.

I also have the Tamron 17-50 and no macro lens. However, I use my 300 with a 1.4x TC and extention tubes for my macro shots.

These are quite artsy and I like them. Nice shooting.
