This is Emily. She is a musician and a Senior this year. Very lively girl and fun to work with.

Number 5 Her eyes just pop. Like the b/w. Great shot. also nice set.

I think that she is very very pretty. I also think that you pointed the flash to much in her face creating flat lighting. 6 is great, but those blown highlightes all over the place just make me squint.
place your flash to the side and up (45 and 45 degrees).

Thanks guys...korrektor, the flash was on the side of her at 45 degrees. It was very sunny outside and probably not the best time to be taking her pics, but we had no choice. we just had to try to work with the sun. Some of these were just natural sunlight. in #6, Emily asked me if i could get the sun coming off the water behind her head so that it gave it more of a dreamy feel, so i did just that. Thank you for your input though.
