I haven't started the actual buying but have done a little research. It's going to be expensive this year based on the lists I've been given. The kid only wants one thing - a Macbook Pro. Just got off the phone and the minimum system requirements for the software he wants to run is a 15", 2.66 ghz with 4 gigs of ram. I can do PC for about $500 but Mac is stupidly expensive!! At least his mom's list has things for less than $500... 


He and his gal are off to Hawaii tomorrow! They booked this trip before they saw the house, so its been a flurry of signing papers for all of us.today will be the last!
