You'd make a great boyfriend....a liar too, but still.

But it's only a lie if you don't believe in what you say! It's possible that your boyfriend truly believes you are the most beautiful thing in the world, even if you don't see it so. :D

Is he paying you?

I don't need to get paid to flatter a lady.
(although, for you, that should probably be HIS job, lol)

Well, wedding photographers carry backup cameras........

Hey guys, please keep my niece, Ellie, in your prayers. She had a febrile seizure today from 102 degree fever. She's okay now, but obviously everyone is kind of shook up.

Ed, did I meet Eric? (I'm sorry, sometimes I'm bad remembering names!)

Yes, I introduced you to Lori & Eric by the bean. He was the one walking with crutches;)

Hugs and prayers for Ellie. Febrile seizures are scarey, usually more for the parents than the kiddo. Do they know what caused the fever?

Thank you. :) She was napping at her grandma's and when she went to get Ellie after she woke up, she was having the seizure. They think that her temp. must have spiked right when she woke up from her nap because she had been acting fine all day with no fever, only a runny nose. She should be okay. It apparently happens pretty frequently in kids that age (Ellie's 1 1/2 years) when their temp raises really quickly. Thankfully her grandma is a nurse. My sis-in-law is relieved that she didn't have to be the one to see it.

Chrissy, I'll say an extra prayer tonight! I hope all is well! I know those things can be scary.

Jon, congrats on the new addition! And I agree that if you can squeeze some more gear out of the situation (no pun intended), go for the gear (but you better keep the wife happy).:)

I thought I'd pass along a few links I found today thanks to my sister. Some of you may have heard of this site before but if not, you can get a little introduction. Browse it and get ideas for what you can do with some of your photos too! ;)

This shot (external link) is a nice use of black & white and does a good job of capturing the emotion of the moment.

This one (external link) can inspire the nature photographers out there.

And lastly, for the animal lovers who can get the timing on the shot just right, you'll appreciate this one (external link).

Penny, I'm sure if you look around a little, you might find some posters you would enjoy.:D

As usual, great shots this week. I have some serious work to do in the next 2 days if I'm going to make it!

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

I've been trying, really hard, to convince my boyfriend that I need some new lenses so he can take better nudes of me. Seems to think that his pns is just fine and that setting up lighting and processing is a waste of time.

I have sooo much to teach him.

But, does he have a good camera? :p Oh, and I would NOT like to buy a vowel...

I was gonna say, I did a double-take when I saw this:lol: -- I literally did have to look twice to realize that she most likely meant something like "P&S", but of course knowing Penny...;)

After seeing the home page of that site, I think you found the only 3 non- T&A shots.
