Congrats winners. Thanks judges for your comments. Permie, unfortunately my shot was a candid shot of the cellist in a broadway show I was playing in so I can't redo it. We were performing in a very small theater and the small orchestra was placed back stage on a 10 ft. platform to conserve space. I had been shooting on stage action through a narrow opening in the wings but by the 10th performance I was bored. I managed to catch our cellist in an interesting pose and only had a few seconds to get the shot before she moved. I knew the focus on the hand was soft but I liked it anyway. We were virtually in the dark except for our stand lights.

I like it too. A lot. The score just wasn't as high for the missed focus but it's a great shot.


Which reminds me to remind you guys, the competition is fierce...so even if a shot doesn't win a week, doesn't mean it's bad. There were so many well done ones this week, it was really tough to choose btw. them. Chris was right...when a shot stands out from the rest (in a group of technically well done ones) that's how it gets our attention.

Cute-see doesn't always work. Mine failed this week.

pffft. you didn't read my post. It wasn't that it failed. It was a good shot and got mentioned for it. There were a couple of technical things that knocked it down, point wise.

so was I. I hate it when I forget to add smilies. I was suddenly called to chase Kona away from tormenting the cats.

Poor cats.

I have the same issue....except it's Aidan tormenting Ian.
