1- the pictures are too small. hard to comment.
2- they generally look like snapshots. you wont get many responses except Korrector saying "these are snaps" :)

#1 you chopped off part of his ear. exposure looks a touch too dar but it may be my monitor
#2 the background is super busy and he has all of these things growing out of his head. he has some harsh light on his face and weird shadows on his body
#3 beware of the shadows. his nose is blown out. was he inside a car?

I found myself asking "whats the point." Size is fine, they're just boring. Nothing to crit besides the real basics. Sorry.

avoid shooting from up and down perspectives. Just keep it straight on. Sounds boring but more flattering. Applying rule of thirds on his eyes will yield much more interesting pics.

Don't get discouraged. Keep shooting, but before going out and just snapping away, study light patterns, composition, backgrounds, etc. In other words, have a plan whenever you shoot. Notice the harsh light and shadows on 1 and 2. You'll also find that as you shoot more, you'll start to think more about whether a photo should taken in vertical or horizontal orientation. As others have mentioned, these look like snapshots. btw, good b&w conversions are not easy. They often require much more than just a simple click of a button. I hope all this helps.
