Took a bit to remove it but as it was still alive I could not pass up the opertunity to break out the macro and snap a couple. Luckily it was just a brown dog tick and not the dreaded deet tick though we have plenty of those as well.  And a bit closer. takes at 3X.  Not sure why, but call me JJ.

It will let loose on it's own. I've never tried the alcohol method. Does sound easier. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
