Lens not sharp enough? Too slow? The more information you give us, the better we can answer your question.

I have an older rebel to and the stock 18-35mm lens produces far less quality than the zoom I purchased. and I get less blow outs, etc. but it's not always practical to stand 5-7 feet away from what your taking a picture of. I was thinking about replacing that lens, but can't decide if I want to do that first or get a fill flash first. I'm a ami too! BTW welcome! MicCog LLC

If you want a camera with one lens that can do it all in terms of zooming, consider a Canon 18-200 IS, Canon 15-135mm IS, or some third party lenses like a Tamron 18-270mm. If you are on a budget perhaps look at the 50-250 IS. Sony A6000, 16-50PZ, 55-210, 35mm 1.8 OSS

You could get the Canon 70-300mm IS lens it would be a ideal lens for the Moto X Racing. http://www.picasaweb.google.com/fspdoncasterrugby
