I also found that I liked the ergonomics a lot better. now that I've had the giant control wheel, I can never go back. So I talked to my accountant and my other half about my plans of switching and the cost of doing so and the plan was to do this before selling the other gear. The plan was put together, I ordered the gear I wanted and the switch was made, after selling my Nikon gear except the D100 and a couple of lenses, I was in the hole about 4k which was paid off in the 1st year and my CPA was able to have some good deductions. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that the MKIV will be just as good as the D3's so I don't have to make another decision like 4 years ago. Nikon D4 and 60 2.8D Micro, 24-70 2.8G, 70-200 2.8G VRII, 200-400 VRII, SB800, SB600, Pocket Wizards, 4x WL-1600, Quantum Turbo 2x2, Sekonic 358 meter, TT AS, Takeoff, Belt System

Can't hold a match to my 20D though. Buffer was small and would often fill up too quickly while shooting sports. Other issues were not necessarily the camera's fault. For instance, the LCD screen sucked and gave a blue tint. Also, some shots were out of focus, but might be because the camera was on the bottom focus point for half of the game. Gear list

yogestee "my posts can be a little colourful" More info | I've still got 4 Nikon film bodies,,the oldest being a 1969 vintage Nikon F which I bought in 1975, plus a swag of Nikkors.. I still maintain that Nikons are the best film cameras to come out of Japan.. My Nikon F2AS Photomic/MD-2 is my favourite but it's no longer with me but my FE2/MD-12 is one of my all time favourites,,made me a lot of money.. Jurgen

I was probably the tenth owner on a couple of them, never a problem that I didn't cause. I sometimes think of rebuilding the kit I dreamed of, the bodies and lenses are so cheap compared and I make so much more an hour compared, but canon digital has brought me back into this party and I'm gonna dance with the one that brung me. 5D, 10D, G10, the required 100 macro, 24-70, 70-200 f/2.8, 300 f2.8)
