The pictures on the walls (especially the one "sticking out of the head" of the guy in the middle), the curtain in the background and the brown/gray floor in the bottom left corner all draw the eye away from the people in the picture. Otherwise it's a nice shot, I would perhaps clone out the shadows on the wall from the flash. EOS 500D, Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM, Sigma AF 70mm f/2.8 EX DG macro
