Very Nice. I love the way the rocks lead your eye into the image.

Thank you Stuart. :D

Cambria California no less ... north of Morro Bay and south of Big Sur ... nice job framing and exposure. My only comment is that I think you could selectively sharpen the rocks in the foreground and get even more mojo out of this image ... :)

it also appears that you may have burned the sky down including the rocks close to the sky (fairly common approach). A mask could preserve the balance of the rocks while delivering the necessary adjustment to the sky.

Thanks for the feedback Jet. Funny you mention about burning the sky. All the burning was done with the filter and not in PP. It saved me a step from actually messing with it. :)

Really beautiful work...I love Cambria :)

Thanks Maureen. I would love to come back here and stay for a week. The photops from this place are endless. The town itself is also quaint and people are very friendly. We stayed in the Fog Catcher Inn and the service was great! :)

Love it but as mentioned by another poster, I think you could get a second great shot if you crop as a pano just leaving the tip of the big rock in and up.

Thanks for the feedback fortis. Since some see it as a pano, I tried a crop and it turned out pretty well. It's nice to have another pair of eyes! :);)

Great shot Julian...foreground detail is awesome. What focal length did you use? Reason I ask is that I'm still on the fence with the color combo filter...not sure which to go with, standard or thin...

QUOTED IMAGE

SWEET! Like I said earlier the original is beautiful too but the idea of a pano with this shot looked too good to pass up.

Thanks Mike. For this photo, I used the 16-35 II @ 16mm. The SR Color Combo I bought is the thin mount.
