There has been a discussion about that review in another topic already I think.

Who is Darwin WIggett and when did he become some kind of expert?

Problem with the Internet, anyone can publish anything and label themselves any way they wish.

There are a lot of problems with the methodology of that review...

#1 thing that comes to mind: The type of shooting they profess to do (landscape), the 5D MkII would be a better choice of camera than the 7D.

Darwin is a nature photographer up here Western Canada.Im a bit confused also about this review especially after seeing another review over at Fred Mirandas site that does the same thing and he comes up with sharper images.GORDO

to each is his own. If you're happy with your 7D then thats good. He tested it and didn't get the result he wanted but replied on the comments that " you should test it for your own self and don't believe what he said, no need for bashing the guy. he shared his result, it's either you ignore it or take it for what it is but don't need to be salty about it.

No I'm not a photographer, I just shoot with Canon DSLR with those lenses with red thingy...;)

His methodology and conclusions are questionable (for example, no sharpening applied - questionable because different cameras have different anti-aliasing filters resulting in different sharpness out of camera), but at least he doesn't claim to be the final word on the matter.

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

:rolleyes:Serious? Darwin is an amazing nature photographer.
I believe the first 7D was a pre-production model. Not sure about the 2nd or 3rd

I suppose it also depends what camera you are coming from how you will feel about the 7D...
