I am setting up a makeshift studio in my living room. I am on an extremely low budget. I have 2 spot lights, made up of incandesant bulbs in metal reflective shields. I use one as a main and the other as a fill. The only flash I have is on camera. I built a back drop out of PVC pipe and use sheets and a drop cloth as a backdrop.
Now, the wall on the left of the backdrop is all mirror. Is there anyway I can use the mirrored wall to my advantage such as bouncing the light and/or flash. I'm not really sure if mirrors act the same as reflectors. Or should I come up with another location for my "studio". I could set it up with mirror behind the backdrop but I sacrifice a lot of space that way. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you,
Sean
