Ah thanks for that. I remember now I used to link to one, however something happened or it changed its terms and I gave up! Even my Canon site recently told me they were closing down their share site as well.

I used to use 'photobucket.com', but I switched to 'flickr.com' for photos & videos. You can get a free account for storage and sharing of up to 1000 images. I upgraded to the paid 'pro' version, for unlimited storage. The flickr site also provides pretty good photo editing tools and album creation, too. I also have some photos on the 'postimage.org' website. :-)

A local store in Invercargill (NZ) has a nice display of motorbikes and cars.
This wee bike took my fancy.

An interesting machine!

Thread drift:
Head over to YouTube and search for Millyard Viper 10.
Now that's a large engine to put in a motorcycle. :)
One gear from rest all the way to 207MPH / 333KPH!

That's a ripper. I'd bet that would be a bone shaker!
How do you stop that machine? Old push bike brake, foot against the rim and tyre and hope you didn't engage the spokes! :p
I see it's got several handle bar levers but couldn't see any brake callipers
On closer look I see there's a cable heading to the front hub

This one will do your head in. I can't see any sort of braking system on it

Longitudinally mounted boxer. Not real common. I'm some ways it makes more sense than across the frame.

Here's one I saw this summer ... sorry it was parked the wrong way for the best shots! I'll keep an eye out for a better chance.

The Nimbus is a Danish motorbike, built from 1919 - 1960. Interestingly it had a four cylinder 746 cc inline engine with shaft drive. This one I think is the Type C, nicknamed the Bumblebee, and this particular bike was first registered 31/12/1939! They were very popular with the Post Office , and to a lesser degree Army and Police Force, and you still see a number of them buzzing around on the roads here - but do not get behind a convoy of them on a country road as their top speed isn't much! A friend had one that he restored beautifully - one of the challenges was the electrical system was 6 volt.

That's a Danish bike on the wall - a slightly more modern version is still in production !
