Is there a difference between the "Digital Style 600 RX" and the "Style 600 RX"? I couldn't find any info on the Elinchrom website.
If they are different, what features does one have over the other?

BTW, these look like fantastic strobes. I REALLY like the fact that they can be adjusted down an extra stop. I was originally considering the BX500Ri but was afraid that it might be a bit hot on the lowest setting. The BX250Ri looked perfect for close/portrait work, but I wanted a bit more power for future outdoor work. The extra stop of adjustment on the RX seems to solve that problem for me. I wanted to be sure before I made this investment. I've really come to appreciate the value of good light. I've gotten by very well so far with 3 x 580 EX IIs, but I am at a point where I want to expand my lighting possibilities. I only want to do this once, and I want to avoid the continuous "upgrade path" without going overboard. Style is the class of lights with a 300RX and 1200RX also in the same class. This is Elinchrom's best and faster compacts. Actually, they are the fastest compacts on the market today and are used extensively in sports. Mark Astmann

The 400BX is every bit as good as the RX series in terms of power output and color consistency. The big difference is the lack of CPU for communication with a Skyport transmitter or USB transceiver and the flash duration in the 400BX. If those things aren't important and you can find a dealer that still has them or a good price on used 400BX's then it's a great strobe. Robert
