This site's got an incredible amount of information on color, file formats, archiving images, backups, it's a total workflow reference site. Go read it.

"dpBestflow is the new guide for every aspect of digital imaging technology from ASMP, the leader in education for the professional photographer."

One part caught my eye so far.

Mods - I think this should be a sticky thread.

Holy crap. That's alot of stuff! I haven't flipped through it all yet, but if Tim says it should be a sticky, then by golly it should be a sticky! :)

I think the lack of comments could be due to the enormous amount of information available there, which will take a while to soak in before we all appreciate it as much as you obviously do, Tim.

Who are these people that made the site, and what's their background/credibility?

"Much of the content on this site is adapted from Peter Krogh's The DAM Book, Digital Asset Management for Photographers, O'Reilly, 2009."

Peter's the person responsible for the website.

One of the things that stood out for me was the ability to check the file integrity of DNG files and to validate back-ups quickly.

Looks like I'll have to purchase some Adobe software :(

How is this accomplished?
"You are good data. I love the way you're organized. You are useful and important to the function of my photography business. You bring a smile at the click of a mouse. You're the best data ever..."
