Trying to do a bug shot for the Pioneer Woman's photo assignment. I had to get creative as it is pouring rain here.

Last ever pics from my camera....it drowned in the sea. I thought my camera was safe while mounted on the tripod but a wave came in and washed away the sand from one of the legs and it tipped over...luckily these images were saved though the card was corrupted due to water and i lost about 30 images.

The Canon 55-250mm zoom lens was used for all these images. I will miss useing the camera that wasn't even 2 years old in my hands. But i i've spoke to my mother and my dear old dad has said he purchase a new one for me and i'm looking at the 550D body only.

The photo is a bit underexposed and I'm not sure if you missed the focus or the camera moved during the exposure.
Can you tell us how you took the photo, camera settings, etc. ?

I Took the pic in TV mode at 1/6 sec, with no flash,
Our living room is a little dark, the dog is Black and he was standing on the edge of my leg, I may have shaken the camera a little.
