Taken last November at WDW, at Disney Studios. Enjoy!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Taken with my trusty XSi, Tamron f/2.8 17-50 and a tripod.

Was trying to capture the fire in the backround, the fireworks just happened to pop up. I have very little experience shooting at night.

NM... read further and saw its already been asked. Awesome.

I haven't posted one here in a long time... and since starting my new job and going back to school I've had even less time to capture some photos. Did get to play around a bit yesterday and snap some shots of a new Hot Wheels Batmobile I picked up.

I used my XSi with the 70-200 f/4 L on a tripod and off camera flash. The first shot is SOC with absolutely no editing whatsoever.

Cool. We rode one from LAX to HNL a few years back. Nice ride. Shame about the Triple Seven at SFO.

Sometimes bouncing bare flashes off the wall and ceiling is better than dragging out the light stands and umbrellas. A couple of speedlites either side of the mannequin pointing away from the subject using ETTL ratios. EF lens is from an old APS kit.

Does anyone know the best flash to get with this camera? I don't like the one that comes with it.

An oldie, but I felt that maybe it could be recycled.....

Trade you. My 55-250 is much lighter, easier to carry.

She's fine. She is scheduled for a minor plumbing fix the middle of August and a hernia that's not bothering her will be tended to also at that time. She spent a week with us over the 4th and prior a week in KY with the other G&G. Always on the move.

But if you have a choice and the money, go for the 430EX II. It can do much of what the discontinued 580EX II could do, and the price on it is reasonable. Plus, if you think you'd eventually upgrade the XSi, the 430EX II would still be usable.
