Do custom White Balance. Take a pic of something white under your conditions and then use the picture for Custom White Balance in the menu.

Okay, so just the side of the lightbox will do? Or bring a white piece of paper into it?

I put a white piece of paper in my bag in case something white isn't present. If the side of the lightbox is white, then that should be sufficient.

Be aware, though, that most "white" paper is actually a very faint blue. This can be easily noticed when taking a WB image outdoors in sunlight of a piece of common "copy/fax" paper. The whitening agents actually give it a blue tint, which to most human eyes appears "whiter" than pure white.

Miss i'm so liking the shot <3

Hey guys quick question, if I have a flash trigger and my built in flash doesn't trigger the 430exII properly would it work if I had another flash? I mean an EX flash on camera and a slave flash.

Has anyone tried this with 2 430exII?

Okay, going through my photos. This photo was an accident, but with a little bit of curves it turned out pretty creative, i think! Okay, that's all for tonight. :)

So, should I just aim it on the side of the lightbox? It's made of white foam board.

Wow, I have quite a bit to learn being that I know nothing about photography. Looking forward to reading around on the forum and learning to take some decent photos.

Hey guys, Im new to the forum here and I have a question. What is your opinions on the 50mm lens for the 450D? I already own a 18-55mm Lens and was looking into getting another lens and I came across the 50mm lens (becuase of its cheap price). I mainly photograph Buildings

The 430EXII isn't capable of being a master, only a slave. Buy a 580EXII though as a master and it's good.

Even then, I'd prefer any Radio trigger over the built-in transmitters as they have to be in sight of each other, I've found.
