Well I got my T-mount and I put my Prinzgalaxy 400mm 6.3 on my 1000D, thanks to you guys here :).

Now there's one problem: How do I get it to focus to infinity? Do I need another adapter?

Thanks!

You should have infinity. Did someone here actually suggest you invest money into getting that lens to work?

Nah not really, I got the lens for free and I bought that adapter for 9 euros... So it's just for fun :P

But can you tell me a bit more? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Hmmm....
I got one of these a few years ago at a garage sale, and had that problem. Turns out that somebody had removed the lens' rear element.

Lol. My mother almost bought this lens for me today. I had never heard of it until i searched my blackberry to see if the $30 was worth it. Judging by your responses and some other background info i said...no. Thanks guys

I got it to focus to infinity! I guess my adapter was too thick. So I removed the element at the back of the lens and put the adapter right on it. Now it focusses past infinity, but it works! :)

Well it's certainly not the best lens, but it's fun to play with and it has a nice focal length. :P

It is a low budget lens but this is a shot from April 2013 of a moon what is full. I was happy with it - considering it was a gift anyway. Cheers!

I'm posting this image as well. It's from a Penumbral Eclipse 23/03/2016 viewed from Sydney, Australia. We are on the edge of the heart of Sydney's light pollution. I hadn't really planned on shooting that night so did it from home. Perhaps not being fair to the Spiratone lens but, it's what I've got.

This image is larger than the last & more true to what came out of the camera with just a whisper from Lightroom - because who wouldn't?

Know that it far from knocks my socks off & not an image I would post on a photography forum if it weren't for the topic of the lens.

Cheers if there's anyone reading this :-D
